Our Story
Hi, I’m Chef Alvin, and this is my youngest son, Aiden. I’ve been cooking since I was six years old and ran a successful catering business for 15 years. But my true passion? Baking. Aiden was diagnosed with autism before he turned three, and as he grew older, my family and I faced the same question many parents of children with special needs do: 'What happens when the school bus stops coming?'—typically after their 22nd birthday.
That’s when we created Al’s Cookie Mixx. It’s a way to bring together my love for baking delicious, handcrafted cookies with bold flavors, and my dedication to creating opportunities for Aiden and his friends. Every cookie is a celebration of both the joy of baking and the incredible talents of our team.

I just can't say enough good things about Al's Cookie Mixx. Without question, the best oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever had. I have recently been ordering for company functions and everyone is a fan. If I miss Winter Market (or 95th street farmers market in the summer) it makes me sad.
